Prosecutor: Hackensack Man Sold Crack From Home

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor's Narcotic Task Force arrested an accused crack dealer after they said they found drugs, paraphernalia, a scale and packaging bag in his Hackensack home.

A judge ordered Deshawn Christmas held on $50,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail on drug charges following Tuesday's raid on Dewolf Place, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said Thursday afternoon.

Grewal thanked Hackensack and Dumont police for assisting.

An April 27 arraignment was scheduled in Central Municipal Court in Hackensack.
